The OCS safety system

The difference between walking a site and managing its safety is what happens after a hazard is found.

  1. Inspect

An OCS safety professional walks the site against the agreed scope.

  2. Document

Each finding is recorded, photographed, categorized and prioritized.

  3. Notify

The right site contact hears about it right away. Serious hazards are escalated on the spot.

  4. Assign

Each finding gets a responsible party and a corrective action.

  5. Correct

Your team or your contractor fixes the condition.

  6. Verify

OCS confirms the correction and photographs the result.

  7. Report

Closed and open findings roll into your management report.

  8. Trend

Repeat findings, categories and closure times show where to focus.

What a finding looks like

Every observation is tracked from the moment it's found to the moment it's verified closed.

OCS inspections are independent observations of conditions present at the time of inspection. They are not a formal regulatory audit of every applicable OSHA standard. Each employer keeps its legal responsibility for workplace safety and compliance; OCS supports your safety program, it doesn't replace it.

Start with a baseline assessment.

One site walk, a prioritized findings report, and a clear picture of where your site stands.
